Amsterdam...

Amsterdam is one of Europe's great cities, it has culture, good food, lots of sight seeing attractions, a wonderful canal system, an infamous red light district and it's all walkable.

During my last trip to Amsterdam we got to have a look at three of the city's best boutique and luxury hotels, from the gorgeous intimate Hotel Patou, the Grand Dame Amstel Hotel and my favorite The College Hotel

One of the most memorable meals I had ever had was at the original Supper Club some years back, so we decided to pay it another visit. What a crazy night it was. The room is still the same - two long rows of beds across two floors, with the open kitchen at one end. The food still gets served at the same time and the music is weird and loud, but totally fits the place. On this trip the entertainment consisted of a flock of coat hanger birds and a grieving widow... I think you had to be there!
