Educated in geography, economics and the environment it was logical I’d end up in the travel industry. After university, a few years were spent at the World Reporter joint venture, helping create the algorithm for what became FT.com, before moving to LexisNexis and traveling Europe and the Middle East developing their partnership network into a multi million pound business.

A clean break into the travel industry came with the move to Octopustravel & the GTA group, where e-commerce skills were honed on partners such as Sky Europe, Airmiles, Royal Bank of Scotland & National Express.

Travel Intelligence was the next stop, working with meta search engines such as Travel Supermarket & Kayak, and developing XML integrations with boutique hotel companies such as Mr & Mrs Smith, Chic Retreats and Quintessentially.
